Central Women go back to back to back as Canterbury Men take the 2019 Under 18 title

The Central Under 18 Women have capped off a remarkable three season run with their third Vantage National Under 18 Women’s title in a row. Central were led on the goalscoring sheet in the final by Vantage Black Sticks Development player Kaitlin Cotter who scored two goals in the final. Younger sister Hannah Cotter sealed the win in the 56thminute with Centrals third goal of the match.

Canterbury would go on to take the Bronze Medal in the competition after defeating the hometown side Capital 3-1 in the third-place playoff.

Kaitlin Cotter backed up her top goal scorer from the 2018 Ford NHL tournament with another goalscoring clinic throughout the week ending the tournament with 11 goals, the next closest to her was Capitals Ruby Baker who scored five goals.
