1. NGĀ PUNA WAI
Ngā Puna Wai, the new home of Canterbury Hockey, has 2x water-based surfaces and will have various food and alcohol vendors to create a prime social hub for the week.
Ngā Puna Wai will also host the international powerhouse’s of the Argentina Men and Women along with our own Vantage Black Stick Men and Women sides as the final FIH Pro League home games, and final home games of 2020 for our Vantage Black Sticks, take place in the evenings on Feb 28 and March 1. We have endeavoured to fit as many games around these world-class teams and the training that they require.

2. NUNWEEK PARK
Nunweek Park has been the home of Canterbury Hockey following the 2011 earthquakes until the recent opening of Ngā Puna Wai. Nunweek Park has 3x sand-based wet-dressed surfaces on site. For the National Masters Tournament, there will also be a host of various food and alcohol vendors on-site to create a second social hub for the week.
3. MARIST PARK/ST BEDES
St Bedes have allowed games to be played on Marist Park at St Bedes college for Friday 28th February. Marist Park has 1x water-based surface. The surface will be used on Friday to allow games across the National Masters Tournament to finish by 3:00 pm. This will give teams the opportunity to attend the world-class FIH Hockey Pro League games at Ngā Puna Wai on Friday evening if they wish.
NOTE: Marist Park is not available for the whole week due to the site being run by the school. The café located at Marist Park will be open on the Friday.
The venues selected for National Masters Tournament were decided to allow masters teams to be split over 2 venues only to create a more social environment. The reduction of travel between venues was also a major piece of feedback that was taken on board following previous tournaments.
Unwind with a massage after your game with one of the fantastic physio/massage therapists on-site at either Ngā Puna Wai or Nunweek Park.
