To help grow the Masters infrastructure in New Zealand, the numbers and standard of NZ Masters Hockey and benefits and involvement in New Zealand Hockey in general.

BIOGRAPHY

Nickname: Goff (Yes, the misspelling of my name on a Hockey team list).

Town You Grew Up In: Lots of places. Whakatane and Hamilton for my last few years of school.

Where you currently live: Pahioa. Halfway between Tauranga and Katikati.

Occupation: Company Owner/Operator. We have two Companies we operate in Tauranga.

Which Hockey team do you support: Midlands. Any Kiwi team.

Sporting High: Winning the Gold Medal over Australia in the final of the International Masters Tournament Melbourne 2005.

Sporting Low: Drawing in last few seconds to miss medal in Gold Coast 2019….grrrrr…

Age you first got involved in Hockey: 17. Had friends playing and they thought I should.

Most Influential person: Lots of coaches and learned from a great many great players.

Hobbies: Not sure I have a hobby. Written and published a novel though. Two more being written.

Favourite TV Show: Sport and history channels.

Favourite Food: Indian, Italian and whatever someone cooks…

Favourite Music: Variety. Depends on the mood.
