2024 Premier Hockey League (PHL) Officials Announced 

The 2024 officials panel for the Premier Hockey League were recently announced. The skilled and experienced group will oversee the league throughout its six-week duration. 

The group includes Nic Rankin as the Competition Director, six Technical Officials, six Umpire Coaches, and thirteen Umpires, featuring Paris Olympic Officials Sarah Garnett, Amber Church, David Tomlinson, Rachel Williams and Gareth Greenfield. All appointed Technical Officials and Umpires for the 2024 Premier Hockey League are current FIH internationally graded officials, ensuring the highest standards of officiating throughout the competition. 

Hockey NZ Technical Manager Colin French states, “This new league is the pinnacle of domestic hockey and aims to unite our communities and build a legacy for hockey in Aotearoa. Our officials communities across the motu have been eagerly awaiting the new league; excited by the opportunity that it will offer not only for the teams but also themeselves who will showcase their skills and passion for the sport.”
