UMPIRE PANELS
Hockey New Zealand and the Umpires and Officials Advisory Group have established umpire panels for those umpires who are progressing through the development pathway. Upgrades will occur when an umpire attends the suitable theory courses and practical assessments required for movement to a higher panel.

Upgrades will occur when an individual gains the necessary experience through officiating at club competitions, domestic tournaments and events.
